Why I Don't Write Here Anymore

I suppose it's been on my mind for a long time, but it never really occurred to me until recently. And because a few of you have been waiting for some projects I promised I'd finished, you deserve to know, as well.

    This exists . . .

This is a thing that exists. This was made with effort, and money.

And Hasbro actually put their name on this.

    . . .

    . . .

    . . .

I'm gonna step away from this one.

My good friend needs some support

You all probably know HudsonHawk, especially if you know me. Even though I've never met the man in person, he's my best friend on this site, on the internet, and probably ever.

    Embarking on a new venture

Recently I discovered a site for content creators called Daisie. It allows people to post their work and ask for collaborators, and it was created by actress Maisie Williams, whom many of you might know as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.

First of all, I want to say thank you to SudokuBrony and The Castaway Pariah. I'm totally blown away by your generosity. Words can't do it justice. Thank you.

Okay, next, just letting everyone know that I managed to get the money I needed to pay my phone bill. With a combination of the GoFundMe and some relatives offering to help, I had enough. So thanks again to you guys who donated. It means so much to me, I can't describe it. If there's anything I could ever do in return, let me know.

I'm still keeping my GoFundMe active, and might even bump up the maximum goal to $1000 and spread it around some more. Things are still going really slow right now. But I've been putting in a truckload of job applications, so something has to happen eventually. At least, I hope it will.

But again, thank you guys so much for all your help. I've been so stressed out lately, I've had headaches that won't go away. But now that this hurdle has been jumped, I can rest a little easier.

And I'm getting help from my mom and my brother for the basics, so I'm good there too. They were even kind enough to pay for my ticket and take me to see "Aquaman" (pretty good movie!), so I've got support on all sides.

Now, to get a cheaper phone plan . . . . :facehoof:

Thanks again, everyone. I'll dig myself out of this eventually. But I'm glad to know I have support here if I need it. Thank you! :pinkiehappy:

I am glad things are going up for you ^^

Well I’m ready to kick the hornets nest now, but have you ever considered just picking up another job or making a more balanced schedule to make sure that you can have time for both writing, family, and possibly another job? I know it’s not easy but if I can manage to take 16 credit hours worth of college credits and work a crap 3rd shift job 8 hours all night I’m sure a lot of people can.

If you ever need to vent, find me.

I don't want to seem rude, but I've been putting in job applications since I was fired. If I could "just pick up another job", I would have already.

But the part about having a schedule is a good idea. It's something I'm also struggling with. It's difficult to get into habits on purpose.

I'm glad to hear you got the funds you needed. Hope you can shake those headaches
