HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! · 5:41pm Dec 29th, 2018
I wanted to wait until the new year to do this, but I'm actually really excited and I couldn't wait any longer. I am no longer TheNewYorkBrony. Well I mean I am, on here at least, just not as a whole. Elsewhere from now on I'll be known as JupiterRising, started from today. And not only will I be known officially as something else, I'll also have fandom names linked to different fandoms. I will still be TNYB on here, but I also will be Catrastrophe on AO3 due to my recent joining of the She-Ra Princess of Power fandom. This coming year I will be branching out to other fandoms besides mlp, since the show we hold near and dear is ending soon.
But that doesn't mean I'm leaving pony! In fact, I have a whole slew of exciting things lined up for the new year!
I've also edited my Patreon to reflect this chance, and now the rewards for pledging are better than ever! I have 1666 followers. If even 100 pledged, it would mean a world of difference! I totally understand if you can't, but if you can, please do! I'm planning on going to film school next year and would like to save up. You can learn about that and all the new stuff on my new patreon!
Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying your holidays, and I will see you all in the new year with a new me! 
I’m glad to see you sticking with the Pones. A lot of other artists that I love following (mostly in the realm of visual art) have largely moved on.
Adgerelli, for instance, has had her SciSet Diaries blog on semi-permanent hiatus while she focuses instead on an Incredibles blog that focuses on a ship between Violet and Voyd (how she even came to the conclusion of shipping them is beyond me, as Voyd had next to no involvement or development in Incredibles II, and was largely a utility to move the plot forward for the actual characters).
While I as-of-yet have no stake in She-Ra (and probably won’t for the foreseeable future), I’m glad you’ve found something else to be passionate about, and I wish you luck in your endeavors.
