Chapter 2 Progress and Updates

Hey there,

I know there's only a few of you thus far, but I figure it'd be good to get into the habit of writing update posts now and then. It just seems like the thing to do, you know?

So first on the docket, Chapter 2. I've got the first draft in the works, and I've got a portable setup to bring with me over the holidays, so I should be good to keep working a bit while I'm away. Gives me something to do since I won't be able to work on music, and I'll have a fair bit of downtime to contend with between travel and the days between Christmas Hearthswarming and New Years.

Thank you to everyone who has checked out the first chapter of Opening Hours. As stated in my first blog, this is my first time publishing my writing properly, and is also the first time I've let myself be vulnerable to criticism outside of my peers and face-to-face encounters in chats and what-not. If you have criticisms or comments, do feel free to share them! I'm not going to argue with you or block you for it, I'm here to learn and grow as a writer as well as share my story. As long as what you say isn't just mean-spirited ad hominem directed towards a relative beginner, I'm likely going to be appreciative of any feedback I get.

Anyway, hoping to get Chapter 2 out in the near future. I'm also working on my first full length album, so my time is sort of divided between these two major endeavours, and I'm notoriously bad at time management when it comes to creative projects (Case in point it's currently 3:40am) and with the holidays it might take me a lil longer to get the final draft out.
