Thought I'd display some of the character concepts from my as of yet unwritten book/possible graphic novel Jack Magic. A warning about the last two, they maybe disturbing to some viewers. Discretion is Advised. All credit goes to DeviantART user TheGraffitiSoul.
#1: Lucian Lysander Barclay
The Main character of the story. A half elf street magician and Jack Atherest (magic user). Displayed with him is his pet whistlerat Nuala.
#2: Lamvid Hosts
The unfortunate victims of a dangerous parasite called a lamvid. If one is taken by the "male" variant, shown on the right, they're mutated into a deadly preadatory monster. If one is taken by the "female" variant, shown on the left, they are slowly mutated into a living nest from which more lamvid's can emerge. Victims are aware of what's happening but there exists no cure. Flamethrowers are effective at destroying both parasite and host. Cold temperatures only slow the mutation progression.
