Blog Entry #36-The Death of A Great Man · 12:25am Nov 13th, 2018
I dont normally do this but... I just found out several minutes ago that Stan Lee, the man who made Marvel what it is today, died. While I dont know the whole story of how, I heard this from my friend and all I can say is... I wish he didn't die.
Yeah, I'm being selfish in saying this but ever since the Avengers(and a few others), I've fallen in love with Marvel. Granted, he never had a role in the story(s) but he had a hand in creating such memorable charaters. Iron Man, Spiderman, the Hulk, the list goes on and on... Heck, the first movie that made me fall in love with Marvel is/was Iron Man.
Ever since that movie came out, I've fallen in love with everything revolving around them, going so far as always see them the day it comes out. While I've never read the comics completely(not because I didnt want to but because I couldn't obtain them), the fact they have such an impact in the world, cartoon form or live action, means a lot to me.
I could go on and on with everything he's done for the world, not to mention everything hes gone though but, I don't think my words could describe how he's changed my perspective on my look of heroes. All I can say is, rest in peace Stan Lee... we'll never forget what you've done for us.
