Regards to my last story · 3:57pm Nov 10th, 2018
Some of you guys may have noticed I posted a clopfic for my last story. It has been poorly received so far. My only question to those who have poorly rated it, is it because of the topic it is discussing or is it because of the writing? Because if it is because of the topic, I think it is unjust to give the writing a poor score. If you don't like the topic that it is discussing then don't read it. But you giving it poor ratings reflects back on my writing ability and may tarnish any future stories potential. Look I know not everyone is on board with clops, let alone with the topic I discussed in the clop itself, but that doesn't mean that the writing itself wasn't good. You can read a murder story but still enjoy it because of the writing. You can read "romance" novels and still enjoy it for how well it was written. Look I'm not condoning the events of what happened in the story. I don't believe its right either. But you also focused solely on one of the issues and not both of them. So I'm honestly ashamed and appalled that no one else so far has commented on the rape in the story. So before you go rating my story because of the topic discussed go read through the whole thing and comment on the writing. Topic shouldn't matter if the author can write properly. I don't want comments on the topics discussed in my stories. I'm looking for critiques on how to better hone my writing skill. So as my mother taught me, if you don't got nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. I am open for critiques, but if you're only going to comment on how wrong my story is for the topic discussed then that is not helping me and doesn't change anything. So help me be a better writer by critiquing my writing and not saying how wrong the topic is. Technically that was the goal of the story after all, it is wrong for BOTH topics discussed in it. Maybe if I get good enough I can start writing stories requested/commissioned of me, but I can't do that without help of critiques.
