Not much on my personal life end. Same old, same old. Literally working in a warehouse is shockingly repetitive and tiring all day long.
Nearly 11k words and because of that, I know that this will be my longest chapter. Things I haven't done yet- the final fight between Starlight and the rest (not that I stalled on it, I just kept coming up with good scenes that flesh out stuff and it's just so that I ended a scene where the fight should start so technically it's just around the thousands and thousands of words corner.) And I had a very, very brief hint of comedy that lightened up some of the dourness that has just been permeating this chapter.
But hey at least because Starlight's an idiot, I got it so the big explosion I've been hyping up for like two chapters happened, so story progress is good.
I hope that when I release this chapter it won't be some bloated 20k words thing but it seems to have a life of its own when it comes to me just thinking that I need more character interactions and actually adding Dash back into the story somewhat.
At least when I get off my job for the weekend I know I can pump out 2000 words easily what with me constantly thinking of new things for the story just so I don't turn into a mess IRL.
Hopefully it comes out sooner rather than later just so I can move onto other chapters of this story and other arcs cause this stuff needs some lightening up and I keep having scenes of Fluttershy and Dash being stallions at least for a few scenes in the next arc or two so like mood whiplash in my head while I keep writing about like an entire town having a bloodbath while my head is giving me like an entire comedy sketch.
It's kind of obnoxious how my brain works sometimes.
And for some odd reason my mind keeps wanting to keep giving characters some weird attachment to Twilight for some reason.
Like by this point I should write a Twilight romance where I don't use my normal pairing cause my brain keeps demanding it. Probably influenced by some cute TwiLuna story or something, that tends to happen a lot. I read something cute with Luna in it and think "man, if only I could do it." But damn it Luna and Twilight are cute together and I don't know what to do with that information.
