Finally something. · 5:11am Sep 20th, 2018
So. It's been a long time since the last chapter was released, and it's going to be more time til it's going to be released, however I'm about 1000 words into it, I have a plan, I even have the climax of the story(which is most likely next chapter) partially written out.
Part of the reason this took so long is that when I moved I had to get used to a good deal of things, empty a lot of boxes and tubs, sort out the fridge, the freezer, the lawn, all kinds of stuff. Even after I moved in it was a while before I even really wanted to cook anything, much less do any writing. However the good news is that time is over, writing on the next chapter in the Last Changeling Queen has begun and things are going to come to a head between Naudia, Twilight and Chrysalis.
The even better news is that I now have a dedicated place to write, a desk in a quiet room where I can open the window if it's raining and hear the rain outside. Also the house came with screens so bugs can't get in. So basically I now have a perfect dedicated writing room now where I can sit and do writing undisturbed. It's not perfect yet, I still have to replace the chair in there, and get a computer set up in there so I'm not just setting my laptop on the desk to write. But I should be able to get both of those things done next month and until then it's fine to be writing on.
Now the bad news is that I have written the part of the story relating to the phrase "Twist the knife, aim for the heart." and I'm a bit worried about it as a climax. From a background perspective it works fine, I know why it's there and all that, it's just that I'm worried people will take it at face value and be like "Oh THAT is what this was about" vote down and stop reading then and there. If you are reading this I would like to ask you to keep reading on when you get to that part before judging, I have plans that are at least a couple years in the making for these stories. So I'm going to make a big, BIG statement right here and right now.
In the story that comes after The Last Changeling Queen I'm going to explain why Luna has to bring out the stars at night(in my fanon fictional universe).
So yeah when we're working with statements like that you know things are going to get a little crazy, so stick around and hopefully we'll see that story before 2019(no promises, but with a dedicated writing room like I've got I think that is a possibility, maybe, don't hold me to that). And with that decidedly unsure statement I leave you to keep working on chapter 21.
