    Harmonycon ‘24!

Howdy to the like…maybe two folks who will see this! I just finished up my weekend at Harmonycon in Dallas, and man was it a blast! My second con, the first being last year’s Harmonycon, and I really loved both! The vendors and folks I met were so nice and helpful, and lots of fun, hilarious and informative panels to sit in on.

Good morning world and all who inhabit it! · 4:19pm Sep 14th, 2018

So, I've never done this before but I figured: why not?

Recently, I've been thinking about how long I've been watching this wonderful world of technicolor equines we've all come to love and enjoy in some way or another. The show has changed me in many ways throughout the years and I wish to share it with you.

Back in 2011, shortly after the first season ended, my sister had recorded the finale, 'The Best Night Ever', and wanted to know how to access recordings on our DVR. She has even watching the show since it first premiered. She came to my room and asked for my help so I showed her how to do it it on my TV. Since the episode already started to play she asked if she could just sit there and watch it in my room and I said, "sure". Once it was over, I found that I had rather liked it. The animation was very appealing to the eye and the voice-acting was good as well. I already knew that I liked Fluttershy. So over the course of that summer I checked out the rest of the show and decided that I really liked it! The characters are all interesting, voicework is well-done, and the songs are nice as well. By the time season 2 was about to premiere, I was ready!

I've been watching for over seven years now and I haven't looked back once. It's been a wonderful road following these lovely mares on this magical journey, through many ups and downs and twists and turns. Though it seems like the ride may be coming to an end in the not-too-distant future, I'm glad I can see the conclusion to the story that's gripped my heart for so long.

Now, enough about me. The reason I wanted to make this post was to get to know something about you guys. How did you first get into MLP: FiM? I'd love to hear all about it! What you first thought of the show, what this experience has been like for you, what parts you've admired seeing the show improve in, etc.

Warmest regards (don't really know how else to close this out)!

Beautiful recollection! I'm a fan for life, and I'll even be watching G5 when it comes out :3

I'm a bit skeptical about it, but I'll definitely give G5 a watch when it happens.
