If you've read my fanfics, you'll know how much I love "Beauty and the Beast" stories. So I've decided to share my knowledge of the fairy tale and its various versions and adaptations in this new independent podcast: "Beauties and Beasts!" Unlike my previous work, I hope to turn a profit from this podcast (in an ideal world, all art would be absolutely free, if people didn't have living costs). A few months ago, my external hard drive literally crashed and it will take over $600 to fix it. Additionally, I hope to upgrade my equipment with some soundproofing. And before I move out of my parents' house and into an apartment where I'd have to pay rent, I'd like to pay off the thousands of dollars in student loans I have left over.

First episode is already up and I plan to upload new episodes bi-weekly. Patrons of $5/month or more will be able to listen to new episodes in advance. Episode 2 will be on the Greek myth of "Eros & Psyche" and will be available publicly on Thursday, September 13th. I am open to suggestions on future topics, but they must be Beauty-and-the-Beast or fairy-tale-related.

There is one film called Penelope. Basically about a girl born with a pig nose because of magic. It reminds me of Beauty and the beast a bit, but not entirely. Still a great movie.
