The Slog

I know it has been quite a while. I've had so many things come up in life since the spring, and to top off my frustrations and apathy, my hard drive broke, taking some of my stories with them. I had been sketching out the final chapter for "Beach Bums" as well as had done quite a lot of work for a (roughly) 2-chapter Halloween story. All gone! For a while I was good about writing on the cloud, but I didn't always have internet access. Anyway. I hope I will finish BB soon and at least start the Halloween fic by Halloween. It was pretty cute (Fluttercord, of course) and I had even been working many hours on a painting to go with it. I had almost finished a nice beach painting of Fluttershy and her friends for "Beach Bums", too! Tree Hugger was belting one out while playing her ukulele.

I have had many years of losing documents (corrupted files, broken hard drives, etc.) both written and drawn, and you would think I'd have learned a lesson by now (and I am well into adulthood and therefore have no excuse besides laziness). I have been very despondent all summer. Sigh. My life is at another crossroads, and I haven't been very creative in months, but I am starting to feel inklings of creativity again. Hopefully I will have time over the next few months to get a lot done.
