I got the first two chapters of Fallen Apple finished and, as a first for some odd reason, edited. It was just one edit job per chapter, but it helped I thought. Surprisingly, I think it added more words than it got rid of. I think I added 150 more words to the story because of the edits I made.
But oh boy, you thought the last three chapters of Within The Seas caused you to get the feels? You have no idea, no idea at all what I have in store for you. Chapter 2 of Fallen Apple...oh, sometimes I can be a little cruel to my audience, and I set you up with the feels within the second chapter.
Honestly though, perhaps because I was just so close to the story, I didn't think it was as heartbreaking as it could have been. Or as good. The reactions I've been getting seems to suggest it's good, but I don't know. You tell me, readers.
So when will the next chapter go up? I can't tell for sure yet. It won't be that fast though, probably. I'll try to get chapters out sooner than I did with Within The Seas, more like how quick the second half was rather than the first.
Man, I gotta say, I'm writing a brutal Halo fanfic and I'm having the time of my life with it as well. Of course, I can't post it here, and if I did, it would get slapped with a Mature rating for both reasons you can get for this website. No, it's not a mindless orgy story, but if you read it you would know within the second chapter why I gave it a Mature rating. I'm surprisingly good at dark stories, I find.
