So I figure I should go ahead and cross post stuff from my dA to here.
I am currently writing 5 fics. I have lost control of my life.
Listed in writing priority
1) Twilight's List. [Shipping] TwiDash. I'm about 40%-45% through my outline and just under 13kwords. So I'll have to figure out how to chop it up to send it to FimF when I'm done. Trying to be a 'real' writer here and doing it as drafts. So I'll finish the whole thing before I start editing. Probably do one or two rounds of self editing before I find/coerce a friend into smacking my prose with the suck-hammer. Obviously Twilight and Rainbow Dash, but I have parts for the whole cast. Although I must admit, Fluttershy is probably underutilized ATM, but I am trying to give her a more major part. Utilizing Fluttershy is something both I and the FiM writers seem to be having issues of late.
(I found out about a TwiDash contest on the 3rd with a due date of the 10th. I really wanted in on that because I am a giant attention whore. I probably won't finish the story in the <24 hours I have left, but it's been fun writing it. Also, 13k of prose in 5 1/2 days of writing blows any other word/count metric I've ever maintained out of the water.)
2) Featherfall Chapter 2. I've got a decent notion of what I need to cover in this chapter, but do not have a full outline yet. I was in the process of detailing stuff when #1 happened. But I haven't given up, I'm just consumed by Twilight's List. I know it's terribly "unprofessional" of me, but that's what happened. Mostly featuring Scootaloo and the CMC.
3) Sequel/Part 2 to End of a Rainbow. I have the idea and scene set in my head. I know what 'fetish' it's going to use. Dash did promise she'd get Pinkie back for making her blush after all. Still just Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash.
4) Warpastry - Inspired both by the Mock War on EqD and my general disdain for the genre that is 'PonyWarFics' (EABoD and DIAF), this is a "war" [comedy/satire] type thing. Mane 6, CMC, some BG ponies, and Griffons. Derp.
5) I have the first 5k of a PinkieDash ship written. It's in dire need of editing and then being finished, but it's way on the back burner. PoV character is actually Rarity, for the time being.

Only when you lose control, can you truly master yourself.
Or something. Whatever keeps you writing, yes? All the same, I am enticed by the prospect of a "suck-hammer".
