Eeyup, still not used to hearing the german voice of Pinkie Pie as Sinon. During this week I also found out Bryce Papenbrock is the english voice of Kirito. This made me feel more despair than Danganronpa 1. Though I also learned he‘s Eren Jaeger, Ceasar Zeppeli and Zidane Tribal, so that‘s awesome (already knew of Makoto and Adrian).
Oh yeah, there‘s an episode to talk about. Well, there isn‘t much to talk about as I predicted.
Let‘s start with the OP. Not much to talk about. Your typical opening scenes with some bland action. And essentially spoiling the villain. There‘s being subtle and the there‘s that.
The actual episode. It‘s Sinon‘s character introduction. We don‘t get much of her character except she‘s the stoic type and wants to be stronger.
They‘re trying to ambush another group, but there‘s a new guy with a mini gun,who‘s giving them problems. I think we were supposed to feel something when the guy with the cowboy hat sacrifices himself, but nothing. He probably won‘t appear again. I‘m saying that often.
Jumping from the building, losing a leg and sniping the guy from the air is kinda badass, but I can only think about how Pito and Llenn were better in that regard. At least she did in this one episode already more than Leafa in one full arc.
Speaking of, we cut to ALO. (Because having Twilight and Pinkie in the same SAO episode is so great) Where the Kirito harem (is there a fan nickname for them?) is fighting monsters (and Silica getting tentacled, again) and watching Kirito and Asuna from afar, just when Kirito wants to tell her something important. And why do their ALO avatars suddenly look so different?
That already was it. That was the whole episode. The ED is just Sinon running.
Digi-Bro called them "Kirito's Spurned Woman's Club", with Asuna as main bitch, and other being numbered chronologically. Yes, Klein is in it too. And he's best girl. Don't worry, Sinon will join in too... whoops, is that a spoiler? No, it's just SAO being SAO.
