Real world Elements of Harmony · 2:06am Jun 15th, 2018
This is a silly thing I think about sometimes, but haven't been able to come up with the last two — what real people, living or dead, would be our world's bearers of the Elements of Harmony?
I've come up with two that I'm pretty set on, two that I think are good, but maybe others could do better, and two I just can't think of any good ones for. I've avoided political figures for controversy reasons and tried to stick with pop culture icons instead.
Generosity — ?
Honesty — Gordon Ramsay
Kindness — Fred Rogers
Laughter — Robin Williams (second pick is Andrew WK)
Loyalty — ?
Magic — Walt Disney
Anybody wanna help me figure out those last two, or tell me why I'm wrong and a bad person for the other four?
Steve Irwin
I don't care which one, just
Maybe Mother Theresa for generosity? Or someone else like her.
Generosity- Bill Gates
Loyalty- Muhammad Ali

He's deserving of something, I just can't figure out which one.

Religious figures kinda go in the same box as political ones for me.

Bill Gates is one I considered for that spot, but it just didn't feel quite right. I hadn't thought of Muhammed Ali, though — why Loyalty for him?

It was on a list. There's also JFK or any famous president for loyalty.
I nominate Audie Murphy for Loyalty!
Okay a thing to understand is what made MLP a good show to begin with.
The Elements of Harmony are their respective Elements not because of, but IN SPITE of their nature!
Fluttershy: It's easy to be nice to people you like, but much harder to be nice to people you fear. Fluttershy shows kindness when she'd rather just leave.
There was this one scene where Pinkie Pie says "leave it to aunty Pinkie!" and Fluttershy says, with quite a bit of edge to her voice "...I'm older than you"
Rarity is the Element of Generosity despite being...well pretty much The Mean Six's Rarity basically. It's easy to give when you don't want something. It's much harder to give when you want it all.
Applejack, man she lies more than anyone in the show.
Rainbow Dash, the first to say "stuff this!" and flys away on multiple times. Like the time Discord was sick she was like "...NOPE!" *gone*
Pinkie Pie laughs to keep the sadness away.
And Twilight, well "magic" isn't really a state of being/personality but whatever.
Basically, I'd have Gordon Ramsay as the Element of Kindness. He's just trying to make you a better chef
