So I'm a (sort of) author now...

For many years, I've been a reader on this site. I've read dozens upon dozens of stories here, and have always been somewhat envious of how easy many of these authors made writing look. I admit to feeling somewhat intimidated, also, looking at some the stuff I had written and never daring to publish any of it.

And then, today, after much prodding, I submitted my first story to the site, and was quite surprised to see it was approved. I was delightfully surprised and quite glad to see that others liked what I had written. Perhaps soon, I can muster up the courage to write another, which I hope will be as well received.
