Hello everyone, this is EquineAvenger here to share a new idea I came up with and hope most of you wil find very interesting. This story saga idea involves incorporating a few characters from older MLP series.
Saga summary:
New students have come to Canterlot High and the Equestria Girls want to make sure they enjoy themselves and make a lot of friends. A few of these new students are a group of three siblings; Megan, Danny, and Molly Williams. Megan, the eldest of the siblings, easily makes a lot friends at CHS, including the Equestria Girls. As they hang out with Megan and her siblings, Sunset Shimmer begins to believe there’s something mysteriously magical about her. After a trip back to Equestria to talk with Princess Twilight Sparkle and read some old books on Equestrian legends and prophecies, Sunset and Twilight come to the conclusion that Megan may be the one depicted in a prophecy that tells of someone ridding Equestria of darkness and restoring the balance of light and harmony. After an adventure that unlocks Megan’s mysterious magical potential, Sunset and Twilight are convinced she is the Chosen One and decide Megan and her siblings should attend Equestria’s School of Friendship. Megan and her siblings become good friends with Twilight’s students and have fun adventures together. However, the forces of darkness begin to make their move and Equestria is soon plunged into a terrible war with humanity. Megan and her friends must fulfill their destinies and save both their worlds.
A few character summaries:
Megan Williams: a young human girl who enrolls at Canterlot High with her younger siblings, Danny and Molly. She is friendly, kind, caring, smart, and pure of heart. She makes friends easily and loves having fun and learning with them. She always puts the wellbeing of others before herself. Sunset Shimmer senses something magical about and comes to believe she is the Chosen One depicted in an Equestrian prophecy. Megan is at first unaware of her magical potential until she unlocks it to save the Equestria Girls from a crisis. With Sunset’s suspicions confirmed, she is transferred to Princess Twilight Sparkle’s School of Friendship in Equestria, along with her siblings and a group of seemingly friendly human government agents. Megan and her siblings become close friends with Twilight’s friends, students, and even the Royals of Equestria. As she and her siblings go on adventures their new different species friends, she learns more about her magic and how to control it. Megan greatly dislikes conflict and suffering and is horrified by the approaching darkness and the sudden war between Equestria and humanity. Despite that, she’s determined to fulfill her destiny and bring peace with her siblings and friends by her side.
Now for the major antagonists of the saga (no names given yet):
Villain #1: the Lord of Darkness, Father of Chaos, Brother of Light, Uncle of Harmony, Enemy to All, and Harbinger of the End. An ancient demonic being of pure darkness and evil that has existed since the beginning of time. He despises and opposes everything related to light and harmony and seeks to spread darkness throughout the universe and return everything back to the dark empty void it originally was. His greatest weapon is the Rainbow of Darkness which can infect the hearts of others and turn them into creatures of darkness, a couple of his best known victims were Princess Luna and Stygian. He's also Discord's father, but the relationship between the two is similar to that of Father and Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Discovering how easily humans are susceptible to corruption, he helps set events into motion that will lead to the destruction of Equestria and spread his darkness. He is the ultimate, true, and final main antagonist of the series. Sauron from Lord of the Rings is a major inspiration for this character.
Villain #2: A former unicorn student of Princess Celestia who went down a path of darkness. Once an ambitious young stallion who desired greatness. He too experienced the Magic of Friendship just like Twilight Sparkle. However, it was never enough for him. Desiring more power, he sacrificed his own friends in a ritual to form a pact with the Lord of Darkness to gain more power. Horrified and appalled by his actions, Celestia renounced the unicorn as her student and banished him from Equestria. He soon became the Lord of Darkness's top minion and formed a cult to aid him in his goals. Twisted (both physically and mentally), ambitious, and power-hungry, this pony willingly gave himself to darkness and is willing to help bring about the Apocalypse to further his own goals. This character was inspired by Voldemort from Harry Potter.
Villain #3 (no gender given yet): an evil human who at first comes across as a reasonable and kindly UN representative who wants to learn about the Equestrian world and contribute to the greatest discovery in human history: the existence of new life in a different world. But in reality, he/she was originally planning to conquer the Equestrian world and use its magic to reshape the human world; in other words, use Equestrian magic for world domination. However, after spending some time in the Equestrian world, he/she decides to obtain as much powerful magic he/she can and destroy Equestria. The motivation for this change of plan is fear. After seeing how different the Equestrian world is from the human world, he/she became fearful of it and its magical inhabitants and saw them all as a threat that should be destroyed. Making a secret alliance with the Lord of Darkness for power and manipulating the governments of his/her world into waging a genocidal war with the Equestrian world, this wicked human hopes to achieve these goals. Corrupt, power-hungry, xenophobic, and hypocritical, this antagonist represents the worst of humanity.
