Turns out the guy who owned the pawn shop had a son whose spirit was causing trouble and the Winchester brothers stopped some strange dinosaur thing the kid conjured up. The old man said the brothers can take one free item as payment and Dean chose the flat screen tv, which sucked the two and Castiel into the episode of Scooby doo where scooby is offered money only if the gang stays the night at the creepy mansion of the guy who he saved.
of course, the brothers couldn't tell Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and scooby they were a cartoon because 4th wall thing.

Yeah, that's the episode on YouTube. Dean was hilarious when he went to make a ridiciously large sandwich that Scooby and Shaggy were making and used cartoon logic to put it in his mouth.
