Okay, so it's been a couple of months since I've finished A Search for Something More and all in all I'm pretty happy with it even though you guys have mixed reactions about the ending. With that said, I know a couple of you have wondered if I would write any more stories now that ASFSM is done.
Well, I have a couple ideas for possible stories - all of which are connected to ASFSM in some way or another, but I'd like to hear what you think about them.
1) A spin-off sequel that tells the story of how Sonata got together with her husband. I've written a little of this one already all the way to about...maybe halfway through chapter 2, and I'm currently calling it A Song of Apples and Birds. It will focus more on Sonata and the Apples family with the other characters including Rough Draft as supporting characters. This will also include the return of Adagio who will also have more focus.
2) A telling of the teenage fantasy novel that Rough Draft and Octavia half-jokingly thought of about ...65% into chapter 52 of ASFSM. So this would have everything that Rough Draft and Octavia discussed with the two of them playing 'The Nerd' and the 'Rich Girlfriend' respectively with Blueblood as the 'Rich Boyfriend' and maybe a secondary villain that would be played by either Sunset or Adagio.
3) I saw EG: Forgotten Friendship which I kind of wanted to be longer but I still enjoyed it. So after watching it, I've been thinking about making a ASFSM version of Forgotten Friendship which would add a couple things to the story including the idea of the memory stone also altering memories so that Wallflower Blush has everyone but Sunset believing that she is the closest friend and leader of the Rainbooms as well as Rough Draft's loving girlfriend.
So I might focus on any of these ideas after I finish another project, but I'd like to hear your opinions about them. Are any of these ideas something you guys are interested in? Anything you like or dislike about them? Are you more interested in one over the rest? Whatever your thoughts, comment below and let me know.
