    Today...

    Today I lost my best friend of eleven, nearly twelve years.

    He'd been sick the last couple weeks. He'd been having joint trouble. The vet prescribed something that let him run around like a puppy again.

    Well, buck...

    I just spent almost a whole month reading a nearly two million word (and still counting!) epic.

    Now I have over 100 new chapters to catch up on.

    I don't know whether to be excited (I can reeeaaaaaad!) or dismayed (oh my god I am sooooo far behind on everything!)

So. It technically is and isn't midnight right now.

Is, because I've set my clocks forward for Daylight Stupid Time before going to bed.

Isn't, because it doesn't technically happen for another three hours.

Can we get with the 21st Century already and stop with this stupid temporal shuffle? We aren't lighting shops by candlelight and oil lamp anymore!
