Here's a simple user manual to tell you about what you're in for.
I'm a writer dabbling in editing and proofreading. Although I'm not perfect in many ways, I can catch and suggest alterations for grammar, punctuation, word choice, sentence structure, and so on. My prose is far from ideal at times, often bordering on purple, but I usually restrain myself from going too far. I'm pretty proficient in pointing out logical inconsistencies, and errors as well!
One Shots
One Shots are by far the easier stories to edit. They usually don't have a bigger universe, which makes it easier to nitpick and edit accordingly.
If you request a One Shot for me to help edit, it'll be done within a day, in some rare cases a few days.
Multi-Chapter Series
These are series, long or short, without an encapsulating giant universe. Based on the genre of the writing I can offer help, but it's not usually guaranteed. I'm a fast reader, but a long series will take more time accordingly. In these types of stories, I can nitpick character development, story lines, foreshadowing as well as the usual package.
Universe Building
I'm a sucker for created universes, having a few well-crafted ones up my sleeves as well. As long as its not overly vulgar or political, I'm always happy to help in universe building, and connecting stories together. I'm able to point out missing details, timelines, logical fallacies and so on.
What do I not do?
While I am able to write/edit mature content, I mostly refuse materials concerning overly graphic and vulgar content. Anything with a "Sex" tag on it is a instant rejection as well. However this does not mean I don't tolerate the entire story, as long as its not specifically based on it. I can still edit the story, but those scenes, well, I'll skip ahead.
How about Crossovers?
This is a tricky one. I normally stay away from editing Crossover stories, generally because I'm not familiar with its content. However, if a story is enticing enough, you can trust me to delve into the source material to match your needs. Crossovers include TV shows, Movies, Games, Fiction, and even fan created universes like FoE.
What do you call me?
I go by the nickname Meadow, or just my initial J.K. Just J is fine too.
What am I like?
I've got a fairly upbeat and helpful attitude. I may come off as collected and snappy at first, but at heart I love joking around and talking to people. I've got a fairly short attention span, a overly nonchalant thought process and at times can be pretty sarcastic.
