And now for something compleatly different! · 10:02am Jan 24th, 2018
Anybody who has read my lone story on FIM may have realised that I'm particularly fond of a certain circuit.
Normally, Mount Panorama is a suburban road outside of the town of Bathurst with scenic views, restaurants and wineries. Inside Bathurst there are an assortment of cafe's. museums and historical attractions.
3 times a year, the scenic mountain drive becomes a race track. The most famous is the Bathurst 1000 in October, there is the Bathurst 6 hour for production cars held over Easter (an event that has no telecast, only a live stream) and the Bathurst 12 hour.
The Bathurst 12 hour is a GT endurance race so you get to see manufactures like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Bently, Porsche and a few others with an entry list of 53 car spread out over 6 different classes... It's going to get crowded in Pit Lane!
The race is scheduled to start in the dark on February 4 Australia time.
If you're interested, there is an international live stream on their website and Channel 7 will broadcast the entire race on 7mate.
I'll be watching and I hope some Aussie Bronies will to.
