Hello, and welcome to the first blog post on the new account! Took me long enough... ^^;
So what is this blog post about? Well I just wanted to let everyone know what I have planned for the next while, as well as some special-ish announcements at the end~
1. Next Phoenix Update
The next Phoenix release, Chapter 6, is going to be posted as soon as I post this blog update! It picks up immediately after Sidestep 6, with Fireside saving Octavia, Vinyl, Lyra, and Bon Bon from Aria, and hanging out with them! Who knows, maybe something will happen as a result of it? >;’D
2. Future Phoenix Updates
Early next week I hope to have Sidestep 7 released, followed by Chapter 8 by the end of the week or start of the week after. Spoilers for those whom dare! Sidestep 7 features a lot of time jumps, and focuses on Fireside getting into Crystal Prep, facing an entrance exam, as well as getting her measurements taken for her uniform. After that is a visit to the hospital to hear an update on her injuries, as well as a run in with a rather familiar face~ >;’D
3. Interactions with you guys
Starting recently, I tried my best to start responding to comments I have received, and plan to continue doing so! Feel free to message me here or on the discord (Just make sure to @me!) and I will do my best to answer! ^^
4. Stories!
This is the special-ish announcements! I have 3 new major story ideas that I plan to start writing slowly, to help make sure I don’t get burnt out with Phoenix, as well as a fourth, which is more of a collection of one-shots~
Phoenix is still the top priority! It will continue to be so! But I just don’t want to get burnt out and cause what quality it has to suffer. So to help combat that, I’ve been working on idea’s for the following:
Roomates: Her home burnt down, her life lost to false prosecution, Sunset Shimmer has to return to a home she left behind long ago.
Another Anon-A-Miss fic, and one that still involves the Sirens in a major way, but instead, Sunset is forced to return to a charity house, and do work for them in order to survive. A (hopefully) much darker and grittier story than Phoenix.
Forcing the Sun to Rise: Tossed aside and left to fend for herself, Sunset must choose between the truth, or her pride.
Yet another Anon-A-Miss fic, but in this one, Sunset buckles and says she’s Anon-A-Miss, just as the CMC delete the account. Heavily inspired by another fic, I wanted to give my own spin on it~
Alter: Ripples of some great magic spell have caught the attention of the Princess', and someone has to investigate.
What happens when Starlight Glimmer’s spell (End of Season Five) goes completely haywire and disrupts the space time continuum or something silly like that? Sunset remains in a Canterlot that is ruled by Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker, and is tasked by them to discover the cause of the strange magic rippling that they have detected.
