Happy New Year everyone! It's so crazy that it's both already 2018 and the first day of a new month... Boy, does time seem to go by quick!
Anyways I hope whoever is reading this has had a lovely Christmas season and are starting off the new year well. It's kinda funny how every year we say, "Well, here's to hoping the next year is better."
In my opinion I feel like we're kinda silly about how we designate the quality of each year that goes by.
Ah well, hopefully for you all 2018 will bring new joys, gifts, graces. I pray for each of you at least one spectacular thing that will stand out so that when 2019 arrives you can look back and think,
"Yeah, that was worthwhile. I'm happy to be alive."
Always remember that your own individual existence is SO important, and even though I don't know you I'm glad you're alive and you're here, and I hope you know how good and beautiful you are.
Anyway I got super sidetracked. The whole point of this blog is to tell you that I'm taking a break from fimfiction for a little bit. It'll be healthy for me. I've had ridiculous anxiety and the amount of time I've been spending here has affected my health; I'm sure in some form we've all been there.
The internet is good - all things that are inherently good and not harmful by themselves should be enjoyed. It's okay to treat yo' self every now and then.
But these things should be in small doses. Too much of an inherently unharmful thing can turn harmful.
So I'm taking a break.
All my entire two ongoing stories are set on hiatus.
If you've been keeping up with my stuff you'll know how I've had terrible writer's block and I can't come up with anything for my stories anyway. So yes, I definitely think it'll be good to take some time away.
In the meanwhile, I hope you all take care of yourselves and have a beautiful week or, however long I'll be gone, but all the same. Make good decisions and remind yourself that you're allowed to be happy. If you involve yourself in the truly pure, the truly good, the truly beautiful, don't deprive yourself.
