The Spirit of Loyalty sequel · 10:34pm Dec 4th, 2017
I think it's time to bring back The Spirit of Loyalty.
For a couple of years I promised a sequel but never wrote it. Truth be told, I was afraid to write and I didn't want to. I was afraid that people wouldn't like it as the first. But I realize there are many loose threads that were never resolved. So right now I'm writing the whole thing on a notebook. It won't be published until Spring 2018, maybe even later than that.
That's all I have to say. Happy Holidays.
A sequel would be grea, I really enjoyed reading spirit of loyalty so I'd love for the story to continue.

I have ideas for a potential sequel, but as I said, I was too afraid to write. I'm a perfectionist by nature. I need every word to be golden. It really holds me back from being a writer and actually write stuff. Now I realize that perfection doesn't come the first time, and it doesn't hurt to try. And if people don't like it as the original, then I will let that be a learning experience.
I wish I knew that sooner.
I've never written a story in my life so take what I say with a pinch (or handful) of salt. Whenever I write an essay or day dream of a story I always find that I tend to realise improvements I could have made to it after the fact.
So maybe what you could do is write it now and then just leave it. And then suddenly a few days after you finish you go "oh my god, I know how to make this way better", and then make those changes. Then wait more, if after maybe like a week where no ideas to improve it come to you then you can say you were happy with it.
Obviously though this means that writing may go a lot more slowly since any you make early on may snowball into future chapters, and if you keep thinking of improvements every few days for like two or three weeks, then that will really slow down how quickly you write. But hopefully this helps.
And once again, take what I say with a bucket load of salt since I've never written a story before.
