    Season 9 Episode 4

I'd say the dumbest part of this episode is quite simple, Ponies use magic but most creatures don't. Griffons, Dragons, Storm Beasts, Diamond Dogs, Hydras, Manticores, Ursas and countless others who would simply brute force their way in.

Why Queen of Parties is cancelled

I have cancelled this story because I put too many subplots and have no idea of how to complete it, one day in the future I will do a rewrite with a different title.

Pony Gender Ratios · 5:34am Dec 1st, 2017

I hae read quite a few stories and often it is stated that Ponyville has a large Female to male ratio, having more females than males in comparison to cities like Canterlot and Cloudsdale who have a more balanced gender ratio.

Well here's an idea Canterlot is primarily occupied by Unicorns and Cloudsdale by Pegasi, Ponyville is an Earth Pony Town, maybe Earth ponies struggle to carry aale foals to term, I mean Applejack, Applebloom and Big Mac it's a 2:1 Male Ratio, and while it is easier having acess to medical servces being closer to Canterlot. Futhemore when further away it becomes even more difficult so look at the Pies four girls, Marble, Maud, Limestone and Pinkie, also due to Earth ponies being the largest family orientated, they produce the most foals and thus pehaps that could indicate Equestria as a whole has a larger female then male population and why non-straight couples are more accepted.

Not to mention Earth ponies have larger frames then other races which means more likely for there to be complications in the birth and males being larger makes the problem worse.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting such a quick reply but I decided to put the idea out there for the fandom.

well I mean that is a issue that happens with pugs there heads are to big to fit throught the cannal and they need to be sea sectioned

The Pie farm and Ponyville are only two examples. Appelozza seems to be pretty balanced. Also you have to remember this show is targeted at girls and has a many female cast, so in the places we spend the most time in the show we aren't going to focus on the actual sex ratio.

I do think thought it could prove to be an interesting point on how it happened. Also while doign soem research the whole Apple Family seems to have more female then males.

Look at most sexually reproducing species that are sexually dimorphic, especially mammals, there tend to be more females than males. Why? these species need fewer males to survive as a species than females. You can have a breeding population of one stallion for ten mares but you can't have a breeding population with ten stallions for one mare.
Again since we are so focused on our female leads, we don't see the males in the back ground.

I was providing a large sample size the Apple Family as a whole. Also Sapient species like human and Equestria's ponies are more open to single partner relationships at least in the bigger population centers such as Canterlot, therefore due to the larger female population there are a lot of female same sex couples due to the lack of stallions.

Here was the point I was making.

Here is your response.

I'll let you infer from there.
