Day four · 7:24am Nov 28th, 2017
Went fishing today with the neighbors chick, Suzanne. She's the man in the relationship, and a totally cool person to hang out with.
As always, we didn't catch anything. The waters here, coupled with our bait, really aren't great for catching anything, but have a good time. It's very peaceful and very relaxing.
I reinstalled Fallout 2 on my crappy desktop PC and played until just a few minutes ago. Man it's so easy to get wrapped up in that game.
Tomorrow I go down to the leasing office with my roommate to get his name on the lease instead of mine. Joy and sadness all mixed into one.
And then I desperately have to do a complete water exchange on my poor turtle Lana's tank. The filter hasn't been working at all lately, except to suck power and make noise, and her water isn't even a week old and already looks and smells like a toilet. Poor dear. The cartridges are so old for that filter that they don't even work anymore, but I can't afford new ones right now.
So it's this instead.
I love her, but she isn't a dog. She's cold and calculating, and would try to kill me if she could. She's so big now that I'm seriously considering releasing her back into the wild where I found her as a baby. I'm just worried that she won't survive, that she's become too domesticated.
Whelp, that's all for tonight. I'm feeling a lot better for writing these, and I see that I have what looks like a small but marginally dedicated fanbase reading these blogs, so go you!
