So my parent have been dealing with mice upstairs for about a month now. We had a exterminator come last week and look around. He laid out some traps and said that the downstairs was fine. He’s coming back tomorrow to check the traps and fill a few holes. That’s not what has me tired. So my mom wants to get the carpets cleaned. Which means my living room and bedroom and my roommate's bedroom. She said that she wanted to get it done some time after the exterminator comes and she’d tell me when we’re getting the carpets cleaned. A half hour she calls and says that we’re getting the carpets cleaned on saturday.
To get the carpets cleaned, I need to move a metric fuck ton of stuff. After she called I had a bit of a manic episode and ended up moving most of the things I’d need to move so the carpets could get cleaned. The only things left are the computer tower and the cats chair. I’m worn out and cranky because I thought I’d get like a week-ish in advance not roughly a day in warning. I’m going back to reading.
I know the feeling, man.
I'm having my old roof replaced, and will have to be hovering over the contractor and his workers to ensure he doesn't fuck up the replacement nor do damage to the structures.
Old roofs suck, specially when made of wood and soft duralite.
