I got my first opportunity in a fortnight today to just sit down an do nothing. With finals coming up and uni really getting busy, I've had no time to just let myself think. Does anyone know the term 'Jamais Vu'? It's a French terms meaning 'never seen', or something like that. I'm terrible at French. It means that something you're familiar with, such as a word or object, suddenly seems new to you. Like you've never seen that word or object before before. I think I experienced that today with my own thoughts. My mind has been so insanely set into uni mentality, an endless cycle of caffeine and mi goreng. I haven't been thinking of anything other than business theories and principles.
So, today, when I finally sat down to just think to myself, my own thoughts kind of surprised me. Needless to say, this gave me quite a few new ideas for my fanfics as well as a few other epiphanies that were lost to me before. Once my exams are done and dusted, and I fill my minimum alcohol quota, I'll really knuckle down and get these fics written.
I wrote this blog just to remind everyone and myself how important it is to not only exercise your mind but let it relax once in a while as well. All work and no play makes me want to drive a screwdriver into my eye. Have some random song I really like =)

425727 I told that to a friend a couple years ago, he was really at a point in time when he was thinking about a lot of things and really stressed out, I said that to him. I know this line from personal experience.
I know that feel.
