Looking for 2 specific stories, anyone remember them? · 11:10pm Nov 11th, 2017
I think they both were on Fanfiction.Net and were alternate versions of each other's plot but sharing the exact same concept and they had to have been posted around 2010-2011 as Sombra wasn't a thing yet nor were the Changelings I think? Discord was the most recent villain to have stories written about and he played a big part in one of them involving the multiverse in general while Cupcakes played a huge part in the other as the entire story revolved around it's own personal multiverse.
Both stories involved Rainbow Dash messing around with her sonic Rainboom, possibly to perfect it? Twilight I think created a jet pack of some sort for Rainbow Dash that could let the user jump universes, possibly switching places with each version of herself in a complex sort of way, in Rainbow's case using her Sonic Rainboom allowed her to jump. It had a fanart with her wearing the jet pack like device over her chest and I think something for her hoof to activate. Both involved finding each universe's Twilight Sparkle to get to the next universe and eventually to do the reverse to get home.
The one with Discord I think involved him breaking free a 2nd time and in order to keep the elements from working, made it so the jet pack sent Rainbow Dash throughout the multiverse involving I think a Solar Empire/New Lunar Republic civil war with the mane 6 as enemies now, another involving the Rainbow Factory possibly after Scootaloo is killed and I can't think what else happened in that one except she had to do a reverse jump through each universe again in order, justto get back home to stop Discord.
The Cupcakes one I remember a bit more in terms of universes, not sure if Discord was also involved but it revolved around Rainbow ending up in the original Cupcakes universe, then another then I think Rocket to Insanity where she went to Twilight who was sleeping only to find out that world's Rainbow Murdered Pinkie and was arrested and she was being confused for her by Twilight at first, then jumping again and the last universe I think was one where Cupcakes was just a movie that was being made by everyone involved in the actual story and filmed by Twilight I think? Pinkie as Pinkamena had a toy bloodied rubber knife for added effect cause obvious reasons.
Anything come to mind guys?
