Tentative Schedule

Since I had nothing better to do today- taking care of dogs and dealing with children et cetera, et cetera. I have decided that the update schedule for my story will probably need to have a basic idea of when stuff's coming out.

Mostly cause regular updates is nice and regular, mostly on schedule updates is nicer. Also since random holidays interfere with my writing almost entirely and yet most of the time I can eke out 500-preferably 1000 words just fine I need some kind of schedule.

Now reading my story it seems that many a chapter is around 7000 words for a "day in the life" sometimes more sometimes less.

So you could say weekly updates? Probably not, because each chapter- minus the first one which is the shortest because its just introducing the idea and felt right to end it there/ 4000 words used to be my maximum comfortable word count. But adding in the fact that in the last fourteen days, I have written 500 words on two of them at least and that 8000 word chapter in two days was a complete fluke of circumstance and enjoying the work, well let's add another week for strange circumstances and holidays.

So hopefully every 14 or so days I can release something. And no this doesn't mean 10k chapters- if I reached that I'd think there would be something wrong since you don't need 10k chapter epics to tell a story. 7k is a nice area to reach for and sometimes exceed.

Now the thing is if I release a chapter, that might mean in 14 days I would release another. But if there's any major holidays during that time or my birthday for example I would write a half day at most. Most likely zero words those days cause me and large family gatherings or dealing with people can be tiring. So if there's a holiday? I'm taking that day off for me.

TLDR; I plan on releasing a chapter about every 14 days at least- with how some chapters are seemingly weekly and I would hope to never write a 10k chapter here, it might be more weekly than fortnightly but with how my life tends to be random and unscheduled weirdness some days, erring on the side of caution is nice. Fourteen day periods help even out the planned 1000 word days with days where 500 needs to be the goal because of scheduling and family stuff. Since today was Halloween here- even though it is the 30th, I'm invoking the rule that I won't write on a holiday.

Cause I've tried before a few times and it just tires me out even more and weakens my writing skills. Also having a break every once in a while is nice.

So tomorrow back on scheduled programming- word count 1100 words. The first bit always comes the hardest for me. Don't know when exactly it will be out but if its not out by the 14th then hit me up.

Cause I can write 7000 words or so easily in 14 days with how my life is currently. So if my life changes at any point, I'll tell you guys and change the schedule accordingly as well.
