Of course, this birthday is a little more melancholy seeing as how it's the first one since I lost my father last year.
Regarding The S7 Finale · 5:29pm Oct 28th, 2017
As you all obviously know, the seventh season has come to an end today. Just to let you all know, I already saw snippets of the finale that were leaked last night. And I must say, it was kind of interesting to show that Starswirl the Bearded wasn't as pure like many believed, and while I bet many people who had the theory that he was a past regeneration of Doctor Whooves are a bit disappointed, the story was a clever way to dodge him being dead (perhaps they can use the same thing with Applejack's parents), not to mention using a character that fans were hoping would appear for some time (though I bet some wish it really had been a remnant of Nightmare Moon. Also, if the Pony of Shadows was in Limbo, what was the figure in the castle?). Still, with regards to it involving my 'Marriage of Celestia and Discord' series, I'm going to avoid the concept that Starswirl and his team were the basis for the Elements of Harmony (I have my own idea regarding that). However, I'm not overlooking the finale entirely. I intend to find a way to incorporate elements (no pun intended) into my series; the Pony of Shadows is too good a character to ignore and the backstory regarding the Pillars can fit into my overall plans quite well.
I don't know how I'm going to work it out, but I can tell you all this much: sooner or later, I'm going to have a VERY epic story going.
I've long been of the opinion that Star Swirl was somehow flawed. Him being proud to the point of arrogance wasn't quite what I had in mind, but it definitely works.
