Oh man, another update with nothing to show for it.

So I bet ya'll are wondering: "Onyx, you piece of crap, where's the Sunset stuff you promised!?" to which I have a pretty legitmate reason behind not having done. I swear. Probably. Hopefully.

The long and short of it is that I was plagued with computer issues for the past few months, with tons of fun things like randomly not wanting to connect to the internet when I tried to get into my Google Drive stuff for longer than 5 minutes, slow down when it DID work, and finally, the outright death of said computer. I'm actually typing this thing with a new computer I got about 2 weeks ago, and for the first time in what feels like forever, I can actually play games on this thing without having to worry about it crashing. Obviously, I've been doing as such for the past two weeks, via Paladins (which if you wanna play with me, or better yet, use my referral link for it, I am all for playing with people. Drop me a DM if you wanna play, and we can arrange something), and have been actually enjoying myself for the first time in a little while.

That being said, I really should be getting back to writing things. And I will! Honestly, the biggest hold up on the writing is just having a computer that isn't trying to commit seppuku while you're working. It makes things a lot easier when your keyboard isn't randomly too.

So what's the plan going forward then?

I'm glad you asked! As of the time of writing this blog post, I'm going to be working on both Sunset's Origin Story, and Fractured Skies in a sort of "back and forth" kinda way. What that means is that I'm going to be sticking to my plan of releasing Sunset's Origin all at once, and Fractured Skies chapter by chapter. Once Sunset's Origin Story is done, I'll start work on Starlight's, and when that's done, Moon Dancer's, and throughout all of that, I'm going to be chipping away at Fractured Skies. I feel like I've kept you all waiting for a long ass time as is, and I really need to hammer out something.

HOWEVER! There's going to be one (possibly two) things that will serve as roadblocks come November: I'm going to be working on a thing for National Novel Writing Month, and it's not fanfiction. It's going to be something completely original, and potentially sold. As such, once November hits the original work takes priority over all else and as such, not much, if any, progress will be made. I'll be sure to keep you all posted.

So... wait, we're going to have to wait more?
