As a Spike fan, I have always had the hope to be a member of this site, or just to fellow Spike fans and bronies in general, as someone people would recognize as someone who contributes to the fandom, and for the name SpikeyD, as stupid as it kinda sounds, to mean something to the community. I want to be a name, that when people get a message from, or get a comment on their story and giving them props, that inspires them to do more, to be proud of their work, to not feel discouraged as an author. Because on this site, we see it every day, and all the time, that people will cancel their stories because they probably feel like they aren't good enough, that they have to compete with the best of the best just to be a success (hehe, rhymes). But I want to be one of the supporters for people like that, someone who can give them advice and they can take it to heart. And I feel this is important to the fandom and Fandoms in general, because without it, then there would be some many of today's great Fanfics missing in our lives. And I want to do it for the Spike Lovers because I feel we are an underpowered group and could contribute sooo much more, but some of the hopeful authors out here don't because they fear being undermined by someone "better" than them, when all they really need, is a little time and patience to hone their skills a little, and for someone to give them that little push of motivation to get them there, and I wanna be one of those people, who with only a few words, can cause someone to contribute great things to a fandom, our fandom.
