A slightly different direction for Beyond The Friend Zone · 4:42pm Oct 11th, 2012
Most of you reading this are probably already familiar with my latest fic Beyond the Friend Zone. It is my first attempt to do romance or shipping not only in this fandom but in general. In general shipping is not something I'm big on but I'm giving it a try and I must say it is rather fun.
My next chapter of this fic will involve a bit more backstory and as such, the way the first chapter sorta just dives right in didn't feel quite right to me. It felt mostly right since we already know the events that surrounding Twilight's arrival in Ponyville, but not quite right. So I added a few words to the intro so as to not dive right in immediately. It's only a couple hundred words or so. If that isn't enough to bother with then don't worry; it doesn't effect the story in any significant way other than being more consistent with the feel I'm going for. It just adds a little bit of context, which is something I'll be doing from here on out.
Other then that I would just like to thank my readers. This is just something I'm toying with but I really am enjoying it. We're on this journey together and if it changes direction a few times along the way I hope you'll keep an open mind, but be sure to criticize me (in a constructive manner of course) if we go anywhere that you don't think is the right direction. Anyway I hope when the next chapter comes you'll enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed planning it and will enjoy writing it. That said It'll still be at least until Tuesday before I can start on it in earnest since it has been forever since I updated And Then There Were Ponies. It is long overdue.
But after that I think I'll dive right in. Unless anyone would rather I work on Platoon of Fillies and Colts but I suspect more of you would rather see Beyond the Friend Zone.
