You know how it feels when you're stranded in an island of some sort and there's no way to get out because every direction is covered with water? I don't either, but I'm guessing that my position is how it probably feels. I tried leaving my town to get out of the state. No can do. 
Damn you Harvey.
At least I still have electricity and water at home.

Right now the most important thing is that you stay safe. If need be, find someone to take you to the evacuation shelter. They'll have beds, food, water (drinkable water), and everything else you need.

It's alright, I still have everything I need and I'm doing fine. I just can't go anywhere. I'm just thankful that it's not a lot worse.

I'm alright, my home isn't flooded or anything. It's just that getting out of the town this morning (I live in a small town just under Houston and I won't say where because of privacy reasons) was impossible at any direction except by boat or air. Ramps and interstates are flooded and closed. I10 is off limits. Back roads are flat, therefore flooded.
And parts of the inner town is flooded, I couldn't get to my job yesterday.
Still though, I'm just one of the really really lucky ones.
We didn't need to leave, it's just that my father wanted to leave Texas to attend a funeral back in Florida and he didn't want to leave me alone.

Well, as long as everyone there is safe, and your house is ok. On the plus side, if you couldn't get to work, I doubt anyone else could either, so I doubt they'll hold it against you.
