One-Shots Update

So I've decided I'm going to try to write more one shots. I am struggling with keeping motivated with writing longer stories right now, so I'm going to write one-shots to try to get my creativity flowing. I still plan to work on my longer stories while I do this, but I have a lot of ideas I could use for one-shots...

I spent the past two hours (ish) working on the first take of a one-shot that has the basic premise of Twilight having a nightmare (when she's a filly, just after becoming Celestia's student) and running to Celestia because she's scared. It needs a lot of editing, but I'm hoping/tentatively planning to publish it Saturday. I need to expand on it quite a bit, I think. Right now, the end, which is supposed to be a sweet scene with Celestia protecting/holding Twilight while she sleeps, is a bit short and falls kind of flat, but I was feeling rushed and not all the way into it, so I'll have to do major edits to it.

I may hold back on publishing this until I have a few one-shots ready...

In the future, I have tentative plans for more fluffy one-shots, because I really like fluffy one-shots, and fluff in general. Twilestia, more TwiLuna, LunaDash, Lunashy, maybe Rainbowlestia (is this a thing?[Also this sounds really weird{Rainbow Dash x Celestia of some form}]), maybe Twishy, and maybe Twicord. Will I get around to all of that? I have no idea. I have a lot of ideas, but they're not all interchangeable! Some of these would also be easier to work out than others...

I like fluff and cuddles.

But, I also kind of want to write a comedy story that's not meant to be taken seriously, just for fun. Think of like an action adventure story, but then instead of ponies using swords and weapons and deadly magic, just... it all being played for laughs. One thing I'm really thinking about is Twilight overthrowing Celestia by fighting her in a dance battle, then having Luna being a bit oblivious and falling in love with Twilight, while Twilight's always rejecting her or trying to get rid of her...

Would that be a crackfic? Is that a bad idea for me to try it? I'm not much of a comedy writer...

Hey, go ahead and write a comedy fic if you want, you won't know how good you truly are until you try.

Also maybe "celbow" or "rainlestia" for rainbow x celestia. That's honestly a pretty hard ship to name.
