"Two years ago, on October 10th, one of the greatest shows I've ever seen aired its first episode on tv. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the fandom behind it have shown me laughter, honesty, generosity, loyalty, kindness and magic. If someone had asked me 1 year ago if I would watch a show of cream colored ponies who teach lessons about friendship, I would probably never agreed to it. But now, looking back, it has been one of the greatest decisions I've ever made. I've met amazing people who I know that I can count on no matter what, who would stand beside me in tough situations, who give me their love and support every single day without expecting something in return; I've discovered new things and skills that I never thought I had in myself; and I joined a community filled with loving and tolerating people with unimaginable talents at art, music, writing, animations, voice acting and many more. I've even discovered myself through many of the characters of the show, such as Twilie and her eggheadness (and sometimes crazy attitude), Derpy and her clumsiness and Fluttershy and her shyness. It has taught me that we all have flaws and that's okay because those flaws are what make us different; what make us special.
So today, 10/10/12, I would like to thank MLP from the bottom of my heart for all the smiles, all the tears, an everything that it has taught me. The world is magic, friendship is magic, and MLP is magic."
