Something Pointless I'd Like to Share

Maybe I'm being too harsh on myself, but I feel like The Mare of My Dreams is the worst thing I've written, at least that's still posted somewhere. Yet somehow, the general reception has been, and continues to be, positive. It's not my worst work, but I think it's close. Yet I look at the stats of the story: forty-four thumbs up with only two thumbs down, close to a thousand views, nearly thirty favorites. I was more expecting the response it got on FanFiction; good, but minimal favoriting and comments. Maybe the FIMFiction crowd is more generous with that stuff than FF.

I'd tell you what I think of it, but I won't bore you with my pathetic critique that can easily be summarized by the comments.
