Well. Today's been a busy day. And so has July. It's been a busy month. Kind of. You know, I put a lot of time and effort into these blogs, and I think it's worth it. As per usual, my monthly update/recap follows.
I'm going to open up by starting with saying that I feel scatter-brained right now. Which, you know, is kind of normal for me. Still. I have had a lot of tabs open today, and I have quite a bit I would like to take care of...
July, a month with 31 days. 31 days for a lot to go right or wrong. Where to start... As you may be aware, I was taking summer classes in college this semester. Aced both classes. One of the classes was Computer Application Science, and I learned how to use Microsoft Excel. I like it. I fear this month because the next semester of college is larger than I've taken before... On top of that, my birthday is on the 27th. I'm divided on that, I want to be left alone on that day like every other day, but at the same time, I'd like to spend the day with my friends... But, I digress, I'm getting off topic.
A recap and commentary of my writing in July...
This month, I wrote somewhere around 50,000 words which I published. If it was November and the national writer thing, I would have hit the encouraged goal!
Civil War of Harmony. This story is on a temporary hiatus. I am looking forward to getting started on it again. You can blame me all you want, and I'll accept that blame. I am not going to point fingers to anyone else. I am hoping to finally get Chapter 32 out this month. I can't say when, but I am hoping to get it out. As for Chapter 33, I have some ideas for it, but because Chapter 32 isn't ready, I haven't worked on it like I should have. I'm a few months behind on this story...
Critical Mass. Well, I'm making progress on it, but I'm also getting discouraged on it. I knew when I started it that it wasn't going to be for everybody, but still, it's hard. I don't want to alienate you guys who read it, and I want to make it the best that I can. Unfortunately, I'm not completely prepared for it... Moving on, my estimate for how long the story will be is getting shorter the longer I think about it. Probably 3-4 chapters left in it. Of course, writing the constant depression in it is hard, and it's probably hard to read that much in big chunks... I do, however, have plans for a sequel after it. It hit me last night how I could do it, while I was laying in bed. Before, I wasn't sure how I could make it work, but now I think I know how. Reading Critical Mass probably won't be completely necessary in order to read and enjoy the sequel if you would want to skip it. The sequel will be much happier, too.
I've also been mulling over doing Author's Commentary for this series for quite a while now, and I've pretty much decided that I will do that. I'm going to wait until I at least finish Critical Mass. Unless of course it drives me insane and I decide to start it before I finish it.
On the topic of finishing it, I don't know how long it'll be before I finish Critical Mass. With college coming up, I may get swamped, but I will try to get it finished in a reasonable time frame. Estimates range from 12 weeks to 3, maybe 4 months more.
As you may also be aware, I wrote and published a one-shot this month, a short, sweet TwiLuna slice of life story. It was featured for approximately 22 hours straight and was quite a big success. I thoroughly enjoyed writing this, and I plan to write more one-shots in the future. I have a lot of ideas that could work for one-shots. I also may start writing more TwiLuna, since it's a ship I do enjoy. I'm also considering a few rarer ships. For example, Rainbow x Luna, Luna x Fluttershy, Celestia x Rainbow. I've just had a sudden urge for doing that.
I also started on another "long" story, "The End War." It was met with decent success upon its release, and I am really looking forward to continuing it. However, I forgot that I was planning to not write more than two stories at one time. I made the exception due to Civil War of Harmony's status. Yes, it's still listed as incomplete, because moving it to Hiatus seems wrong because for all I know I may release chapter 32 next Saturday if things go right. I've envisioned variations of this story for over a year.
I would also like to finally finish the starting chapter to another story I started a while back, but I don't know if/when that'll happen.
Statistics...
Views per day: This statistic is difficult to calculate due to the update discarding this statistic from the "About" page. Fortunately, it is possible to calculate this when based off of total views and the number of days an account has been active. However, the "About" page also no longer has a "Total Views" view, meaning that this must now be manually calculated by adding together all story views. Due to the nature of how this works, I can no longer guarantee accuracy (not that I could in the first place.)
Views per day increased to 48.28 from 46.39.
Total Views: In order to find this statistic, I took each of my stories' total views and added them together.
Total views increased from 40,730 to 43,886. This statistic may be slightly inflated because of how Fimfiction handles "views."
Library Total Words Written: This is fairly easy to calculate, as all it involves is clicking on "stories" on my profile.
Library total words written increased from 689,374 to 736,260. This is approximately 47,000 words (46,886).
Followers: This is another easy statistic to calculate.
Followers increased from 48 to 57*. I did the 50 follower AMA special as planned. The follow-up will come as soon as I prepare it after finishing this post. *I am not counting the two followers earned today, 8/1/2017, as it's August.
Breakdown of statistics: For those of you who, like myself, want more information about my statistics, I take the time to break them down into percents. This may not be very useful, but it does give some indication of how I am doing, plus it simplifies the numbers.
VPD increased by 4.07%.
TV increased by 7.7% (7.749%.)
LTWW increased by 6.8%.
Followers increased by 18.75%.
Additional comments:
I am not an artist. I am however, considering doing something for the EQD... whatever it is... However, I am semi-competent at making backgrounds, but not very competent. I do not have the patience, nor have I practiced enough.
Feel free to comment here, asking questions or whatever. I can give more details on some of the things I mentioned, such as my future possible story ideas.

Its what got me into your works in the first place and i cant wait to see it continue.

I fully intend to finish it, it just might take a little while. I need to sort out some logistical problems at the moment... I can't guarantee it'll get updated this month, but I am hoping that it'll be soon.
