    Story update

No, neither of the story ideas I mentioned last week are cancelled. This post is more to start what I hope to be monthly updates - weekly once I post stories again - on the stories, with this one being the one where I announce the story of the two I'm working on.

    A (long) overdue update.

(Looks at last blog post date) Damn. Near three years.
So, first off, news. I'm just going to get straight to everything here.

A break from my Displaced and crossover fics.

It's as the title suggests. I'm taking a break from writing my Displaced stories. As of now, they aren't cancelled, so don't worry about it. I've just lost the drive for them right now is all. The same for my crossover fics right now. Again, as of now, they are not cancelled, and I don't feel like putting every single one on hiatus right now. Underused ideas · 3:08am Jul 30th, 2017

So, I'm curious, what's your guys' favorite underused idea? Something only barely touched on in film, book, or game. For me, it's zero gravity combat, as that's pretty much always FPS games that have it, but they don't take advantage of it. For a proper way of using it to its fullest, utilize the fact there is, factually, no up or down. Have the shoulder buttons adjust your up and down. What I mean is, when you look "up"-your up- pressing the "ascend" button will have you go "back" relative to how you were facing a moment before, as an example. If done properly, I feel it could lead to some interesting levels in science fiction games.
Let me know what yours is in the comments.
