A (long) overdue update. · 3:56am May 25th, 2020

(Looks at last blog post date) Damn. Near three years.
So, first off, news. I'm just going to get straight to everything here.
I'm cancelling the stories I have up that I've not yet finished. Should have done that sooner, to be honest. If any of you want to unfollow me - if any of you all are still on this site or see this - fair enough, I won't begrudge you in the least, not after the near three year silence for me. That's not to say I'm done here. Not yet, at least. Nothing too grand, not yet. Just . . . a rewrite to set the stage for something, I won't say much, I might get you all just a bit excited, and given my track record? Not a good idea. Same with another story idea.
Second, and this is to all of you reading this that do unfollow me: Thanks. I mean it. Even with you leaving now. . . it still helped show me I'm good enough of a writer, even in my early days, that people wanted to read me. I've been having self worth issues recently, but thinking back to the people I've never even met but still tried my stories? It helped a bit. Enough to where I could still go out in public without constant doubt. I won't say I'm depressed, but still. Thanks.
Third, final, and related to the first point: Two story ideas. That's what's going through my mind. Won't say much, but the basics:
1: A rewrite/rework of Shadow Kings so as to set the stage for something else.
2: Something in the vein of Shadow Guard. Not exact, but hopefully still with the intrigue the first few chapters got.
That's about it. Again, if any of you decide to unfollow me, fair enough, I know I've failed to keep up with. . .just about anything here that wasn't reading, and all I have to say to you all is thanks again for reading even one of my stories.
For the rest of you that decided to stay? I can't promise when even the first chapter will be out for either of these. Definitely not by the end of the month. Still. . .I promise, to each and every one of you that are reading this and decided to stay, I won't do this again. For better or worse, I will see these two to the end, and let you all know if plans change or are abandoned.
