    So, where has ALS been?

I know, it is an important question. We left on somewhat of a cliffhanger with Celestia...

    Is it March already?

Holy bananas you guys! March is almost over....

    So, A Lunar Sunset.

Good news is that it is not dead. I am actively working on it! (Like, I am taking a break right now from having spent the last couple of hours writing)

Bad news is that the update schedule is going to remain somewhat sporadic until my life gets a little more in order.

    Back with a vengeance!

Hello to all of my fans! (I can't believe that I have those...)

So, filling everyone in on what has been happening with ALS in the past little while.

I was laid off from my job just before Christmas, that triggered a pretty bad depressive spiral for me. Between my waning finances and my lack of STEADY work I had to prioritize getting healthy.

    Yet another brief hiatus

    Hello again all!

Sorry for the long wait - I have been out of work for a few weeks (since before christmas)

And I will be moving - YET AGAIN - in like a week and a half - so there is that.

I'm chewing through the next chapter, its a little more involved because of the context, but I'm getting there. I PROMISE!

A Lunar Sunset, and first impressions · 8:58pm Jul 28th, 2017

My first two chapters are less than 24 hours old, and have gotten over 100 views. This is amazing to me, only because I was mostly writing this for myself and my own headcannon. The fact that the response has been positive is amazing to me. All of the follows, likes, etc. Loving it.

That being said, my goal with aLS is to update one to two times per week. This is a romance fic, so I intend to have it be somewhat of a slow burn. I am a world-builder by nature, so I enjoy the whole idea of making things happen and testing the limits.

Additionally, this particular project is going to be a bit of a change for me - I normally write fiction of an... explicit nature... this is my first jump away from having full on graphic scenes. I want to focus on the relational aspect more than anything, while also remaining true to the original character tropes from the franchise.

I do hope that you all enjoy this! I am working on chapter 3 right now and would like to get it posted either tonight (Friday) or tomorrow.
