You asked for it... *SPOILERS* · 3:38am Nov 26th, 2017
The next chapter for ALS is in the works.
Due to some pacing concerns for the long-term in the story I have decided to move this portion of the plot up in my timeframe. It has been in the plans for a while, but I think that in order to avoid writing myself into a corner later on and then trying to figure a way out of it - it is time to address this particular issue and then build up from there.
You can read the remainder of this post without spoilers, just not what is under the cover coming right now:
THE FIGHT WITH CELESTIA
So, if you did or didn't read what I put under the spoiler tag above - it really won't hurt you to continue on. This particular plot point was planned for later in the story, after Sunset and Luna had developed their relationship a little more. But after looking pretty deeply into where I wanted to go with the story, I think that it is better served happening now. It will fill in some gaps from previous chapters, as well as lay the groundwork for a more solid story in the future.
I debated using this point now or later, but in the larger scope, I think that it is the right time. That being said, it will create other plot-holes that will be patched in the future as well. This is intentional.
This particular point is now being planned to split off into two major portions - one that will be coming in this chapter, and one that will come further down the line. By splitting it, I am going to address one of the two major questions that have been asked in the comments section. The split is planned in order to drive other developments later on down the line. Again, intentional.
Because of the shift in the plot timeframe, it is taking me a little longer to get through this chapter, because it really is a MASSIVE undertaking. I am hoping to get it posted up this week, as I am about halfway through the chapter already. Also, expect this chapter to be a bit longer than the normal 1500-ish words. I debated splitting it off into two chapters, but I like this way better.
Thanks everyone for the great feedback and support on this project! (Also for dealing with my love of exposition)
See you in the comments section!
