Weight of the Sun changelog: 10/8/12 · 6:40pm Oct 8th, 2012
Holy hell.
I am so glad to be done with the rewrite. EqD still didn't want it, but whatever. It's no skin off my back.
That's actually a good thing. It means less pressure for me. Not in timing—I still want to get chapters out in a timely fashion—but in content. On EqD, I would have been severely restricted. Well, probably not really, but still. I'm sure there would have been someone standing in the background, tapping their foot, giving me a slight nod or headshake every time I looked back to check if I was doing good or not.
I don't have that here. As long as I keep it within the content rating (which I will), I can put whatever I want. Don't worry: I'll definitely make it worth your while.
This isn't really a changelog because I have no idea what changed—not because nothing changed, but because I didn't keep track of it. And I deleted all records of the old version.
I have chapter two written, but I'm saving that as a time cushion because I haven't even started working on chapter three yet, and I'm gonna be kind of busy this week. I'll try for regular releases, but I can't guarantee anything.
In a couple months or so, I want to start work on an audiobook version of The Weight of the Sun. It's something I've wanted to do ever since I first got the idea over a year ago. I'm not taking auditions yet, but if you're interested, let me know so I can have you in mind.
Stay tuned to my blog for details on that project in the coming months. Also, watch for new blog posts because when I release a new chapter, I'll post a blog with some interesting background information on the story, and I'll also be answering FAQ's and responding to the most common comments posted on the previous chapter.
Glad to be back,
Logician
Glad you're back, duder! If you still want me, I'm still very eager to participate in the audio book. I can resend an audition when the time comes, just let me know what parts and when. SOOO glad this story is back on track!
Awesome I cant wait to read it.
