I assure you, I am not dead! Neither is WotS!

Wow. It's been a while. Sorry about that. I've been pretty busy.

Basically, I was never happy with how The Weight of the Sun was going. It was cobbled together based on a few different things I wanted to happen, like a whole puzzle supporting just a few pieces. It wasn't going to work how it was.

    Merry Christmas, Everypony!

I'm agnostic and I still say "Merry Christmas". "Happy Holidays" just doesn't cut it. It's too generic, almost cold.

Also, "Holy crap, Logician, I thought you were dead." Yeah... sorry about that.

    Nightmare Night's Eve update!

So I got Medal of Honor: Warfighter for PC the day after it came out. And it just sucked me in. The singleplayer is actually pretty awesome. It's really linear, a bit buggy, and it entertains the idea of being cover-based, but I love the story. Battlefield 3 really lowered the bar on story, so when Warfighter blasted me with all these deep, well developed characters and

    I got a job! Yay!

I told you my time would be getting limited soon. I just started at the Round Table Pizza around the corner from my house today.

In contrast to what I hear about most minimum-wage jobs, it's actually very fast-paced and gives me very little thinking time. Which means less writing than there already was to begin with.

Weight of the Sun changelog: 10/8/12

    Holy hell.

I am so glad to be done with the rewrite. EqD still didn't want it, but whatever. It's no skin off my back.

Nightmare Night's Eve update! · 9:08am Oct 30th, 2012

So I got Medal of Honor: Warfighter for PC the day after it came out. And it just sucked me in. The singleplayer is actually pretty awesome. It's really linear, a bit buggy, and it entertains the idea of being cover-based, but I love the story. Battlefield 3 really lowered the bar on story, so when Warfighter blasted me with all these deep, well developed characters and intertwined subplots, not to mention an awesome car chase segment, let's just say I was smitten.

The multiplayer could use some work. The built-in VOIP is really buggy and unconfigurable, there's very little team balancing, some of the weapons are stupidly overpowered, and the official EA servers are absolute ghost towns. But I love it still.

I also found James, in the character Preacher:

Same build, appearance, facial structure, demeanor, voice, age range, everything. He even has a wife, and a daughter about Haley's age. It blew me away.

Just to let you guys know, I am working on chapter three. It's just coming along slowly. My job is taking up a chunk of my time and leaving me exhausted for another chunk, and to supplement my income I've been doing freelance development of Android apps. Then I've been spending what free time I have left playing either Warfighter or Minecraft, or watching Youtube videos I've seen a million times. And then I bought Left 4 Dead 2 today because it was on sale.

I really need to budget my time better.

I wanna thank you guys for your patience. The story didn't go very big when it went back up, so I'm hoping to pick up more views as I get more chapters out.

Development is on a bit of a hold right now as I'm waiting for approval or information on all the projects I have, so if I can stop procrastinating, I'll use that time to write.

Logician out.
