Well, I'm still alive. Is anyone else?

I'm wondering how many of my followers are still kickin' around this site.

I got the random urge to read through my old blogs here. Lemme tell you something:

Don't do that. The sheer amount of cringe I got going through those old posts is unbelievable. There was also nostalgia, but my god I was a whiny shit back in 2014.

    Goddammit, I'm mad.

Warning: Sibling-based drama incoming. Feel free to not read, I just need to rant.

So I live with my mom, for those who don't know. It's more affordable and less lonely. Of course, there are issues that come with that. Namely: I still have to live by my mom's rules. One of these rules is insanely arbitrary, but it's part of the price of living here.

I'm confused and concerned; and I need advice.

I dunno how many of you know that I broke my leg roughly a month ago. I posted a blog about it, but it only got like fifteen views.

It was pretty bad. It was my right leg. I snapped my tibia clean off at the bottom, and splintered my fibula a couple inches up from the foot. Nearly dislocated it too. Tore the muscle between the two bones right the fuck apart.

What the dink are you talking about, lady?

    *two weeks ago*

Me: You know, now that the hospital has taken off my splint and given me this boot, I think I may be able to help bring the groceries into the house; as long as I go slowly and only take two bags a time.

My mom: No way. You still have to walk on crutches until your next surgery, and it would hardly take anything to throw you of balance.

    Me: That's a good point.

New story idea. What do you guys think?

Well, it's not new. It's actually one I've been sitting on for quite a while. But I thought I'd get an opinion on whether or not you guys would read it.

    It's a self-insert. Yeah, I know, but there's a twist.

    Guys? Help!!

It's the weirdest things that set people off. · 2:21pm Jul 9th, 2017

I gotta vent right now, someone's pissed me off pretty bad.

So, it started with a forum post. Someone was making absurd blanket statements. Saying that this subject that he knows so much about is always like this, and if you try to say that it's not always like that, then you're wrong.

I replied to him, saying that he was wrong. It's not always the case. He asked me to clarify, and I replied with a half-assed hypothetical. Just a "what if" scenario to point out that there are cases where his assumptions about the subject are wrong.

He took it way to seriously. He proceeded to make a long-winded smackdown, (even going so far as to say I "asked for it") wherein he underlined all the ways my hypothetical was "invalid". Most of which didn't even land, as most of his arguments were in reply to assumptions he had made about it to make up for how barebones it was.

He then sends me a PM, sardonically saying that he'd love for me to actually try to support my claims, and demands an apology for "insulting" him.

That's the part that pissed me off. Up to that point, I'd been fairly amused by the business. Thing is, I didn't even insult him. Closest I came to it was insinuating that he didn't understand the subject as well as he thought he did. I admit that I was kind of a smarmy ass, but so was he. I respond to condescension in kind.

So I tell him he must be really cocky to demand something like that so upfront. He says, "No, I'm just civil," and blocks me. (At least, I assume he blocked me; I can't reply to his PM, or send PMs of my own.)

Right, that's why he was such a condescending prick. That's why he sent a PM where nobody else could see him demanding apologies for imagined insults like a petulant child. That's why he blocked me for not bowing to his majestically superior knowledge, and catering to his temper tantrum. It wasn't because he took something way too seriously, it's because he's civil.

What a titanic ass.

*snickers* a titanic ass indeed

Damn, what an ass indeed.
I mean, it could have been a troll, but they rarely blocks you immediately.
He must have some balls of steel though, to ask you to apologise to him and then block you.
