DDF Chapter 12 progress update and other unimportant stuff. · 1:14am Oct 8th, 2012
So yeah, its been like what a month since my last blog thingie? I had planned on doing one sooner but I procrastinate.
Anyway i just wanted to get a few things down and also set a deadline for myself that i hope you will all hold me to, and also share some silly story idea i had today... one that i might follow through on int he future just for the hell of it.
-So for the new chapter in the works, my pre-readers are more or less done (thank you, you know who you are). Hopefully due to their hard work thus will be the best chapter yet, and i have decided to split ye old 40 page chapter 12 into 2 parts. Whether these shall come out as chapter 12 then chapter 13 i have yet to decide, i might do that but a part of me wants to drop the second half as chapter 14 and explore some more of our parties adventure n a small 10k wordish chapter 13. Whatever the case, chapter 12 in all its cut in half glory WILL be dropping by Friday, but i am aiming for Thursday. All i gotta do is get my nose to the grind and actually frickin apply all these edits and stuff from the pre-readers and stop playing vidya gaems.

Wait a minute I was gonna share some of those silly story ideas i had...
Well here goes nothing, terrible story idea pitch GO!
So i was sitting around minding my own business, bored like usual when i am away from my laptop. When i get hit by this strange idea for a MLP/video game crossover. One that somehow made perfect sense within my crackpot mind. Take six characters from a class based warfare game that can only be described as speed incarnate, give them each a personality, and then somehow let them adventure around in Equestria committing high level shenanigans. I didn't really know how i was going to end it, but i thought of at least a few interesting scenes that i desperately wanted to write, the only reason i haven't is that i know myself. I would tell myself I would just make a 4 chapter short story and somehow turn it into a 12 chapter epoch or something. I still want to pursue it, maybe if i get burned out on DnD writing and all the somewhat dark tones the story is taking and i wanna write a Random/Comedy from time to time. You know, something i can just have fun with and not commit to.
That's all... wait i didn't say what the crossover was? Well...

Glad you found yourself some new prereaders! and while 40 pages doesn't mean as much to me as a word count would, it sounds like you made the right call on splitting it in two.
and as for the other story idea, shenanigans are good!
Especially high level shenanigans!
