WHY EDITING!? WHY!? · 1:31am Jun 29th, 2017
Okay, new problem. Now before I when edit some stuff in my chapters like mis-spelling words, certain sections of the chapter not properly have bold or italics on it... but now... THIS IS JUST ANNOYING!
While there have been some new changes to FIMFiction, I believe this certain change is making my time to edit my chapters (especially IHAP), lengthier than it's supposed to be.
I don't know if this is just me but, whenever I try to copy-past the new edited written work I have on the saved files on my folder onto the chapters, I get three to four spaced lines between every sentence/paragraph that I wrote... EVERYTHING SINGLE SENTENCE! It got to the point where I wasn't bothered... but I remembered that if its like with one chapter... imagine several... then I cracked.
So either it's the writing program I'm using that's causing this or FIMFiction itself, but now I need to either write instead of copy-pasting it or continue with lengthy editing periods... I don't know which is worse.
New Update: Found the problem... or is it the solution? I don't know but, since FIMFiction's editing options are set on double-spaced making all your chapters double-spaced automatically... However; the chapters I write on the program I used are all set on single-spaced... so to better explain things...
The double-spaced on FIMFiction and the single-spaced on all my written files confused the buck on each other that it caused to add more spaced lines than needed (I did not knew that could happen... The more you know I guess).
So what I learned now is... that I have to double-space all my work... ... ... ...F***K.
Another New Update: Nevermind; we're back to square one.
FINAL NEW UPDATE: Apparently there's a option to paste the copied section without the italics, and other nonsense... so far it's the closest thing to less work. Only difference is that I need to add the sections that had bold and italics on them... I can deal with that.
