Updates: Confidence and a Song for You · 10:07pm Jun 22nd, 2017
Got some of my confidence back and to celebrate, I bring to you a parody song I wrote. This is a drinking song for a Griffon race I call the Varangar, a Viking and Spartan sort of mix warrior culture. This is my first go so I'd like some feed back on it.
UPDATE: Rewrote a few lyrics.
Based off of this:
We’re the Children of Sigurd
So sturdy and so stout
When our day is done
And it’s time for fun
We’ll drink and fight and shout
You weak livered tea drinkers
Can let your throats run dry
Cause there's just one drink
That we will sink
Until the day we die
Drinking mead in the halls of Amber
The Maidens and our men
We swig our brew
Until we spew
Then we fill our mugs again
You can keep your filthy cider
It makes our bellies bleed
Cause when we raise our flagons
To another dead Dragon
There is just one thing we need
More Mead (x2)
Chug a mug of mead
And another mug of mead
Chug another mug of mead
Till you fall down
Chug a mug of mead
And another mug mead
Chug another mug of mead, warriors
After long hard days
Of hunting and of gore
Our throats are tired and thirsty
And our bodies harsh and sore
But we won't spend our evenings
Feeling tired and feeling spent
We perk right up when we breathe in
That wholesome honey scent
That Yakistanic vodka
Too starchy for these tongues
You can keep your fancy Manehattan wine
It tastes like Grendel dung
Canterlot Blue tastes good to you
But here we like it plain
Just fill our mugs
With a mighty jug
Of honey, heart and grain
Drinking mead in the halls of Amber
The Maidens and our men
We swig our brew
Until we spew
Then we fill our mugs again
You can keep your filthy cider
It makes our bellies bleed
Cause when we raise our flagons
To another dead Dragon
There’s just one thing we need
More Mead
Chug a mug of mead
And another mug of mead
Chug another mug of mead
Till you fall down
Chug a mug of mead
And another mug mead
Chug another mug of mead, warriors
